"Full Tilt," Entsminger's visual interpretation of predation by a pair of wolves chasing a large bull caribou. Frank witnessed a caribou running heavy breathing, with it's tongue hanging out, & not long saw the wolf behind the bull.  Bull caribou become extremely vulnerable after countless days of fighting during the rutting season. Alaska's wolves, some weighing up to 150 pounds are very effective predators, especially when an animal becomes exhausted from the dominance to win over breeding the cows, both caribou and moose. Frank titled the two wolves with their own name. "Land 'n Snap" is attacking from the front. "Airborne" is attacking from behind the animal. These titles are derived from methods of take for harvesting these affective predators. Frank believes strongly in sound wildlife management for both humans & wildlife. In order to have a harvestable wildlife population of ungulates, wolves must also be harvested to populations in balance. Frank completed a moose he entitled, "Spooked," that he envisioned having a set of wolves chasing the moose. He decided to make an edition of this pair of wolves to go with both "Full Tilt" & "Spooked." "Land 'n Snap" & "Airborne" can be purchased as a set or with "Full Tilt" & "Spooked." The edition with "Full Tilt" is 36. The edition with "Spooked" is 26M.
